We are now proud to announce that we are a Specialist GP Training Practice.
At times, you may be offered an appointment with a GP registrar. Rest assured, these are all fully-qualified doctors and will have years of experience in several hospital specialties. They are in the process of completing their specialist training toward becoming a General Practitioner. They are always supervised and supported by an experience GP Trainer and often can have a bit more time to unpick your health concerns.
We also teach medical students and trainee nurse practitioners, so sometimes you may be asked to see the doctor or nurse with a student or trainee present. You should always be asked beforehand if this is acceptable and you are absolutely within your right to ask for the student to leave if you prefer to have your consultation in private.
